Obama as President, has changed American ideology

With Barrack Obama winning US Presidential elections could be called a milestone in the history of America. Soon after his victory,the whole of America was flooded with joy, as if an angel came to the country. For many this could be the end of what we can call racial discrimination. Its hard to say that what exactly is the situation now, but an editorial dated 6-Aug 2009( TOI ) shows that if a country with such educated citizens do such a filthy act, is it correct to say that ” Education is the key to make a healthy society ” .  From long there has been a cry that education is the key to build a healthy society, being educated one is all capable to differentiate what is good and what is not. Government today are spending colossal amount of funds to improve country’s education level, so that a healthy society or dwelling place could be realized. Apartheid or difference on the grounds of races, colour, caste are some symptoms that draw a line between a healthy society and a Racist one.

One would be correct to say that countries where education level is low could have such issues, as people have low level of awareness, on the contrast even many developed nations where literacy level is close to  99% ( source ) are victims of Racism. Be it America , Germany or Australia all have some elements of racial heat flowing on their surface. The lates such incident in America is when Professor Henry Louis Gates enetered in a racial dispute,  being a laurate at Harvard made it easier for him to win the battle, also the professor is a close friend of Mr. President. The point is not Henry Louis Gates but rather every American need to be a Harvard professor or a friend with Mr. President to escape such humiliating encounters. The picture may tell situation has improved, its the common man who faces the real problem. Election of black president is a message that racial difference in America is on the verge of end, while stories like this sing a different melody.(source TOI -06/08/2009 editorial ).

Its not all America, Germany and many countries of Europe have also shown marked incidence of racial discrimination in wide range of flavours from colour to ethnic origins. United kingdom is another country that has reported few cases of racial discrimination. Again European countries where the literacy  has substantial existence, the air has fragnance of racism. Australia a huge hub for International students escpically of Asian origin has reported plethora cases of racial discrimination, the worse part is here the discrimination not just limited to verbal attack rather it has now physical attacks. The act would be justified if these people were immigrants, however many of them were regular tax payer, which bounds the government to protect them.

If such developed nations are showing these immature sign despite of having such high level education, what is the use of such education which cannot open up your ideology.
