ISRO scientist unable to get the data due to the connection break. But the good news is that, the mission is accomplished as 96 percent of research work had been done.

Chandrayaan-I spacecraft was launched from Satish Dhawan Space Centre Sriharikota on October 22, 2008 and completed 312 sucessful days.

It is a huge coincidence that the day of entering Chandrayan into lunar orbit(November 8, 2008) is same as the day of its loss of contact, i.e.Saturday.

This is the first snap of Earth send from Chandrayan.
