Your thoughts have a lot to do with nutrition and your attitude to what you eat. You can see how your thoughtscan influence you with regard to nutrition, taste and health concerns.

Like repeating thoughts, whether consciously or not can make you believe them to be factual, whether true or false. If your mother told you that it’s unhealthy to drink water with your meal, that notion may remain with you to the rest of your life. I had also a such type of notion from my mom in childhood that never ever comment on your food whatever you are eating, having food is itself a God’s greatest bliss. So whenever I don’t like any dish, I just keep quite.

Whether true or false, the ‘wisdom’ of your teachers must constantly be challenged as new nutritional discoveries are made.

I thinks our thoughts also have some taste and they compare it to some taste which our mind  have already sensed.

How do you react when you hear a bad report on the news? The media may ‘warn’ that “everyone who does not get the ‘flu shot will be seriously ill and chances are blah, blah, blah,” Those are all spoken words!

You can choose not to entertain all the negative news coming your way! Instead, make a conscious choice to replace it with positive thoughts and words. You can direct your destiny with how you think and what you say!

The more open your mind is to trying new things that you know are good for your health, the more your attitude will change and your taste buds will follow!

Something about Dutches are said that whatever food a farmer is not familiar with, he does not like. In other words, if he’s never tried it, he has already condemned it in his mind by assuming he won’t like it and therefore won’t even try it!

“In a world where powers are determined by the share of the world’s knowledge, reflected by patents, paper and so on… it is important for India to put all her acts together to become a continuous innovator and creator of science and technology intensive product”. This what technology icon of India Mr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam said in his one of his conference, the message is clear, in coming era country with high end technological powers is going to cash her resources and would be the front runner. What Mr. Kalam said is India needs more of talented folks who can deliver excellent research work not only in science and technology but also in every sphere of our lives, be it social science, politics. India desperately requires a strong R&D platform where she could create a launching pad for the new technologies.
All this is blue print, by looking at this India could think of becomming a new super power in times to come or atleast be at power with many advance countries. This is where India lacks the most, the ability to transform words into action. Without a sheer effort of converting these ideas into action these thoughts would remain as a blue print. It’s not that India is a lazy jack, primarily it’s because we dont have proper resources and funding for this to happen, and with our traditional pedagogic ways of teaching this seems to be an impossible job.
Before I begin my thought process, once I was going to a song of Pink FLoyd, one line that made a lasting impression in my mind was “after all we are just another brick in the wall”, seems strange! that what a rock star has to do with this piece of blog. But this is how co-relate thing in life. With the present education system it is evident that dream of Mr.Kalam would remain a dream. For Mr.Kalam’s vision to take birth, our young folks should have an open panorma, where thought flourish not any mathematical formula or physics laws. This where we start a weak foundation. India fails at the very first step of becoming a tech guru. Education is a key to remove all the orthodox and baseless rituals we follow, but the task becomes tough when its own rituals are so oppressive and ossified.

Book Worm

Schools are similar to a theater where the actors like Principal, teachers are mere a script reader, like a theater actor is required to speak what’s written in the script so as our teachers and pricnipal. They have an hard coded program by which they execute their daily task. What I mean is that, the prime concern is to get the overall marks count for the school to get high. Teachers are least bothered about the thought process of the students, what matters to them is they follow the school policy and deliver good scores. At a some stage students too feel that only way to excel is to become book worm, loosing their creativity. A mid set up of getting an admission to a good college they need to have a healthy count of marks, they tend forget the real goal of this education, for which Mr.Kalam was talking about. After all it’s the Indian education system requirement that molds the student in this way.Teacher give a limited chunk of time to a specific topic, for them it is immaterial wether the student understood the concept. If they understood its good, if not its excellent. Keeping this in mind now the board exams have been made optional. The idea is again good, that now since student don’t have any phobia of exams they can concentrate on the fundamentals rather than cramming the formula, teacher also could spend more time on each topic. The policy makers did their part of act, it’s now up to the school actors to execute the script.

Dying Innovation

Coming to the next stage of Studentship, i.e graduation or postgraduation. In a report it is said that India would be at same technology level like any other developed country and by the end of 2015 or 2020 she would overtale them all. Many would appreciate such kind of speculation, but on real ground this is herculious task. I don’t say that what is being said is incorrect but the facts sings a different melody. Nearly 4,00,000 software geeks turn up every year out of that 3,00,000 are software buddies, major chunk of this goes for job, neglecting the research studies, nearly 20,000 goes for Post graduate and 1000 pursue Phd’s. The problem is mass pool of talented techie filter out at the level of graduation. The reason is also acceptable, India spends about $27 million on R&D where as US spends $368 and China nearly $104. With such small amount the graduate don’t show interest in pursuing postgraduate studies. A survey brings a more clear picture, there is about 156 research population per million, where as the count for US is 4,700 research scholors population per million.
what we dream of, today is just a dream and will remain dream till we take some rigrous steps. To get a cut throat edge in technology we need to have a collective efforts of school artist and college scripts writer. Its high time for us to stop adding bricks to the wall rather we need to start pile up the stones to build our wall a little stronger and larger.

This is a real story when a man from Florida opened a chilled Pepsi Can “Indeed”(a brand of Pepsi) and found an unwanted taste there. It was a frog, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) confirmed this later.

“It has been verified, and it was indeed a frog,” Charles Watson, a spokesman at the US food inspection authority, told AFP from Florida, noting that the animal had been identified by an FDA lab.

Gautam Buddha is a name from history , one who brought buddhism, also we all know the  laughing Buddha, he  is some one who finds a place in our daily life from bedrooms to our workplace , no doubt we all know both them, the question is has anyone ever asked are they same ? Well if you treat them like god they all are one like all gods. Yes they are different , I am poor student of history but I can bet that I never saw Gautam Buddha laughing or having such a pot belly.

The Laughing Buddha (also known as Hotei in Japan or Pu-Tai in China) is thought to be based on an actual wandering Chinese monk who lived at the time of the Liang Dynasty (907-923 AD). He is incorporated in Buddhist, Taoist and Shinto traditions. He is not the same as Gautama Buddha, the main Buddha associated with founding Buddhism. But there does appear to be a link as some strings of Buddhism do regard the Laughing Buddha as an earlier incarnation of the Maitreya Buddha (or future Buddha) who is predicted to succeed the Guatam Buddha, and this is partly because of the words attributed to him before his death:

“Maitreya, the true Maitreya has billions of incarnations. Often he is shown to people at the time; other times they do not recognize him.”

There are many myths as to why this incarnation of Buddha laughs some of them are interesting while some are just non-sense , here are they :

* Actually Hotei was an enlightened master. He started laughing immediately after his enlightenment. And laughing was a way of his preaching enlightenment. People, disciple will gather around him, and seeing him laugh they too would catch the laughter. Some serenity and joy would descend.
* The big belly that He has contains the sufferings of all the living beings . He is not a fat man . The laughing style of Him is a gesture of Happiness from the deep down of his heart . This noble being is a Boddhisatva and the thus come one Buddha . The word Maitreya means loving kindness ( Metta in Pali language ) . So , we can see from the statue carved , the image represents a very kind and jolly person .

There are many more but they all are just funny part of it, now comes the point what is the use of this laughing buddha in our house, the Laughing Buddha is a symbol of happiness and prosperity.  In Feng Shui ,  he is the symbol for wealth.  Legend says that rubbing his stomach — which contains wealth,  luck,  good fortune and joy — will be ours.  Laughing Buddha statues are popular as house warming gifts and good luck charms.  It is commonly held that statues of the Laughing Buddha must not be placed on the floor, they must be positioned on an elevated surface, as a sign of respect.

Love has different form , we can call it a love for a child from a father,mother. Love as a relation between teacher and students, or between youth. Love has been defined by many english laureates shakespear, Wiliam Wordsworth (others I dont remember ). According to them it is a bond between two individuals so that they can share all what they can’t share with others.

However today we find this a little hard to digest ,I mean the word LOVE, well call it western rising defination or whatever today SEX is the new synonym for love, you don’t need to go far ahaead , today teenage affairs are common act in metros and so the teen sex, does it mean that what our english laureates said needs to be changed, or we are on the verge of moral decline, the phrase I LOVE YOU  has said to have a hidden meaning that means I WANA HAVE SEX.

I dont say all of us think like the same way but yes many may be 99.99% of us think,( .01 % are like me ). Well the story does not ends here consider the youth working class who date like anything today, with every passing months they say the word LOVE to a new girl, the relation starts with a cup of coffee and ends in the bedroom.

It is that the word SEX has become an integral part of our life, even if it so then why people are afraid of say that I want to have a comfort sex, are they ashamed or think the word LOVE sounds more moral and civilized. Whatever be the reason but I guess the words have different meaning. Sex is no doubt that a blaze but is short lived while love sounds boring but is eternal

Is Love is for the young ? many would say sure, if I say Love is not only for the youngs ? Many would keep silence may be they themselves are envolved ( Talking about uncles), surely today the boundary of love is not limited to youth rather it has now enlarged it sphere, its not only old aged are getting envolved in affair but trends begins from teenagers . Well this article is basically to show some insight why there are more old age affair in our society. Clearly Richard Branson (Virgin ), Viijay Malya (Kingfisher) and Hugh Hefner (Playboy) show that new may be fashion but Old is still Gold. Well as such there is no scientific research done on this topic as to why elder youth are getting affair, unofficially there are many theories as to why this happen but no concrete evidence, some say its maratial problem, some say they need change some say its psychological attitude change. Still you think that this piece of blog is junk, here are some facts about what I am writing : * The contemporary suggest that today average age for romance is nearly 40 yerars. * Nearly all aged person like reading of them nearly 84% read romantic novels * Nearly 170 millions romantic novels are sold in an year. No doubt that these readers have some conection to romance be it a youth or a old man. Now talking as to why old men easily fall in affair than their female counterparts. There is a widespread belief that women will lack interest in sexual relationship with their menopause, thereby tepting men to get allured by the outside beauty, many indulge in love because they have lost their wives, or dont trust them any more or they want something exciting. some find that aftr years of their marriage they think that they do not have the right partner. Some big household think after having such hard work they ought to have some adorable time , so they need some bubbling company. Well clap sounds from 2 hands, there one more reason why old age affair are being common is that today girls want a person who is rich , setteled, there are many bussiness man who have wives who are younger than their daughter. Still I am not sure why this kind of romantic trend is existing, is it men have more desire or its the trend that is being continued, well some one said that its done beacuse after 25 years of marriage men change the gear of their lives, its like changing from Honda Civic ( High Performance ) to Skoda Laura ( High Luxurious Class ). There is no problem with whats goin on , untill you are just a spectator ( GUESS YOU GOT THAT ). I may not be able to convey my ideas completely but guess u must have got some insight, hope you would find this article as an outofbox kind.
